Hello Open Discussion Peoples -
Tonight is our last Tuesday hanging out together and to end the year with a bang we’re having Slip N’ Slide Games and a Cook Out on the Crossway Church property tonight. Here’s the details.
If you live on or near by campus need a ride to Crossway, meet in the circle by the Sandford and Moore dorms at 3:30pm today. If you’re driving yourself, meet at Crossway at 4pm. (See bottom of this post for directions to CrossWay).
We’re gonna be hanging out and playing lots of water games on our massive Slip N’ Slide tarp, games like Kickball, Dodgeball with water balloons, Ultimate Frisbee. Then we’ll cook out.. have some hot dogs and chips and ice cream cones. So come on out and join us for our last OD event of the year! Its gonna be a blast!
NOTE: Since we will be playing games on the Slip N’ Slide, please wear dark clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty. You might also wanna bring a change of clothes to change into after the games, unless you wanna eat in your wet clothes. Also – you may want to bring like a beach towel/bath towel.
If you aren’t normally a part of an Open Discussion but don’t have anything going and wanna come on out and join us.. feel free! We’d love to have you.. the more the merrier. Just EMAIL ME to let me know that you’ll be coming so I can have enough food for everyone. See you all there!!

3:30pm – Gather at Sandford/Moore circle for rides to Crossway
4:00pm – Meet at Crossway
4:30pm – Slip N’ Slide Games begin: Kickball, Water Balloon Dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee (Slip N’ Slide version)
6:45pm – Cook Out/Eat
Directions to Crossway from the UNCC Campus:
Exit out Mary Alexander Rd. Take a LEFT onto Mallard Creek Church Rd. Go straight for several miles.. you’ll cross over N Tryon and the highway.. keep going. Continue on Prosperity Church Rd (Mallard becomes Prosperity). Go straight on Prosperity all the way until the end.. Look on your RIGHT and there’s Crossway. We’ll be in the field by the right of the entrance by the church offices (the little house). Call one of the interns if you can’t find us.
Oh how time just seems to fly by and the end of the year is fast approaching. Sweet because school will be out, yet bitter because we will have to go a whole 3 months without a big meeting : ( So this is indeed the last big meeting of the year and we look forward to seeing you all there at 8p. As we finish up our series Grow, Stretch will be teaching us that this is a group project. It will be excellent and encouraging to all. All of God’s designs are good.
We will be in the basement of Crossway Community Church like we always do about this time.
Come to Moore Hall basement tonight at 8p to watch Will Smith in his latest hit movie! Snacks, drinks and fun provided

We’re meeting at the Belk Tower
So here’s the sitch…we are having an Easter Egg Hunt THIS Friday at the Belk Tower. But this isn’t an egg hunt for yo mamma, because we’ve added a few special rules which involve the possible appearance of the Easter bunny and friends. Oh, and if that isn’t enough to peak your curiosity, we’re also giving $100 to the person with the most eggs at the end. That will buy you a LOT of Chik-fil-a, friend.

Prayer … it seems like a good idea for most people, but what is it? And how are we supposed to pray? And why should we pray? And do I have to close my eyes, speak in some old English dialect and put my hands together for it to really happen? And if my dog is there, does it help?
These questions that are pretty common (some more than others) for those interested in following Jesus. So we can consider these things together, come on out to Mission 28 this Wednesday night at 8pm. We will be continuing our series “Grow” and Tyler will be addressing the topic of prayer.
We meet in the lower level of CrossWay Community Church on Prosperity Church Rd.
Tues night we have our infamous Open Discussions once again on campus. The topic of ponderance is Do People Need People? (suggested prerequisite: I Am Legend) Will Smith was able to pull in off.. could you? Of course this begs further questions such as, what is need, or what degree do you mean need? This is exactly why O.D.’s are a blast!

It’s safe to say that nearly everyone in America has encountered religious beliefs being shared in some form. We want to know what you think about the different ways you’ve seen religious beliefs shared @ our O.D.’s tues night! Come anticiapting fun, laughter, and making new friends.

Welcome back from Spring Break! Rekindle was amazing but sadly its over and that means back to class 
Good news is though, we get to all hang out and seek God together again, this Wednesday night! Normally this is not a Big Meeting Wednesday, so remind your friends and be there at 8pm. We will reminisce on Rekindle a bit but even more look to what the Lord has for us now.
We are starting our final series of the year and it is going to be strong. Joe is kickin it off and the title of the series is “Grow.” Take a look at Psalm 1 in preparation and may your soul be encouraged.
